Card Authority Australia is now offering a bespoke solution for the long term protection and presentation of trading cards at an affordable price and quick turnaround.

Encased in high quality plastic which includes the latest in UV protection and ultrasonic welded water/dust proof housing, CA Slabs are every collector’s solution for presenting, storing, preserving and protecting your trading cards.

Offering a wide range of options, including Twelve(12)  types of CA label designs as well as fully customised Labels are a new and innovative way to house your cards at an affordable price.  Whether encasing a single card or your entire collection, CA Slabs have a number of different price levels to suit every collector’s budget. Label options include:

CA Slabs use the latest technology to catalogue cards including the use of unique QR codes and serial numbers which can be found on the back of the labels. Each slab also includes the CA Watermarked holographic sticker to ensure that your slab cannot be reproduced or counterfeited.

SUBMISSION | SLABBING PROCESS 

  1. Download the Submission form - click here:

  2. Fill out the Submission form with your card(s) details.

  3. Make payment through the website, https://rgvcollectables.com.au/collections/caslabs/products/ca-slabs-slab-your-trading-card and then email submission form to slabs@rgvcollectables.com.au 

  4. Send your cards in to be slabbed. Package & protect your cards & mail them to CA SLABS - PO BOX 95 , JIMBOOMBA , QLD , 4280

  5. On arrival at the Slab Lab your cards will be reviewed and cross referenced with your submission form.

  6. Custom label printed and cut out ready for slabbing

  7. Your Card is placed in our slab mould with the custom label and sonic welded in the slab press.

  8. Your newly slabbed card is reviewed for quality assurance.

  9. Your slabbed card(s) are packed and lodged for delivery.

  10. You receive your brand new CA Slabs and tag us on Social Media @CASlabs

** Turnaround times for slabbing can vary based on several factors including geographical location and disruptions to postage & freight services.

    CA Slabs expect to have your Slabbed cards back to you within 14 days of receiving them at our Slab Lab based in NSW.

PRICING

  • 1 to 10 cards - $15 per card Slabbing fee + $10 flat rate shipping

  • 11 to 30 cards -$14 per card Slabbing fee + $10 flat rate shipping

  • 31 to 50 cards - $13 per card Slabbing fee + $10 flat rate shipping

  • 51 to 100 cards - $12 per card Slabbing fee + $10 flat rate shipping

  • 100+ cards - $11 per card Slabbing fee + $10 flat rate shipping

Note: Shipping price is $10 fixed price. EG, 50 slabs is $10 total not $10 per slab.

As we continue to develop our digital technology CA will be announcing further benefits to customers in the future which will include:

  • Online Catalogue and Database of all slabbed cards

  • Valuation systems and cataloguing of cards for insurance and financial purposes

  • Population reports to be made publicly available that define how many and what cards have been slabbed.

CUSTOMISATION / CORPORATE SLABS

RE-SLABBING

CA Slabs offer a re-slabbing option for both currently encased cards from other companies as well as discounted replacements of any pre-existing CA slabs that may  have been scratched, damaged or you would like a different label type. The CA Slab Lab has the required tooling to safely open slabs to ensure that the contents remain intact and undamaged. The service to safely open slabs for replacement is currently included in our cost breakdown.

  • Replacing as existing CA Slab that's been damaged or you would like a different label: $11 Per Card + $10 flat/bulk rate shipping regardless of quantity

​​

  • Re-Slabbing cards currently encased by other slabbing or grading companies; Refer to our price guide. No additional charges for opening and removing your cards.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

When submitting cards and making your payment to CA Slabs, you are agreeing to the following terms & conditions. Terms & Conditions are subject to change on an ongoing basis.

​

  • CA Slabs take no responsibility for cards/packages that are lost or damaged in transit either as the sender or the recipient. 

  • It is the responsibility of the sender to post/freight the cards in an appropriate manner that includes registered/tracked services.

  • All completed submissions are sent back to customers using Australia Post Registered Post services or another third party provider and include tracking numbers.

  • All cards submitted should be sent with appropriate packaging and protection to ensure safe transit.

  • CA Slabs record via video all packages when they are being opened to ensure the details on the customer submission form correlate with the contents of the package received.

  • CA Slabs do not provide additional insurance on packages being sent to customers, unless otherwise requested and agreed in writing prior to dispatch.

  • CA Slabs do not ‘grade’ or ‘authenticate’ cards that have been submitted. The service is limited to encasing and providing customisable labels. Please ensure the submission form contains the correct detailed information about each card you are submitting.

  • Please refer to the Re-Slabbing guide for any submissions that are scratched or damaged and need to be re-slabbed. 

  • In the instance your card is damaged or lost whilst in the possession of CA Slabs, we are liable for the equivalent replacement or financial compensation at the current market value of the card(s) at the time of submission. Any issues pertaining to damage or loss will be communication with customers accordingly in writing.
